Helping patients connect with their loved ones through phone and video calls.

Phones for Patients

We are collecting donated mobile devices, chargers and cables, preparing them and then deploying them to participating NHS hospitals and care homes so their patients and residents can stay in contact with their loved ones during their stay.
Most patient visits have been stopped in the UK, and sometimes patients arrive without mobile devices, and often without cables and chargers.
Phones for Patients is a Registered Charity in England and Wales (No. 1191293)

“We were delighted to be able to donate a number of mobile phones to help keep people connected during the current COVID-19 pandemic. We recognise the challenge that spending time in hospital or a care home can bring with the current restrictive measures in place and so wanted to make a small donation to help keep people connected with loved ones."
— Chairman of Royal Berkshire Fire Authority, Councillor Colin Dudley
"Innovation that supports sometimes the simplest but most essential things in life, like helping us all stay in touch, are so important right now. The technology sector continues to share ideas and initiatives designed to support people during this crisis and I commend such efforts in such difficult times."
— Iain O’Neil, Digital Transformation Director at NHSX
